Inspiration of Vietnam Street
One of the most important connection of this design is the staircase. There is a restriction of this building forbidding any demolishing of the staircase. Nonetheless, the old staircase was very steep and high. The designing team has overcome this obstacle by designing a new staircase to cover up the old one which makes it more functional and practical for customers and staffs.
Anytime you take a look back at the interior design, you can feel calm and genuine with the ambience crafted by coal stones and tiles. In addition, there is a hint of luxury from small details like dark bronze lamps.
Talking about the exterior. Despite the location in old town area and narrow alley, the designer has drawn a unique characteristic to the restaurant by placing a black log at the entrance to make it noticeable and memorable promptly. A black log is not just for decoration by it is the interpretation of firewood and grill. In terms of façade, it was all painted in solid black to make it outstanding and different from multicolour buildings from all around.
